You would like to review the use of snippets on your website or in system emails. A snippet is a macro or code that instructs the system to expand automatically into a predefined field or instruction. All snippets are dynamic; they update automatically as your event progresses.
You can use snippets to dynamically display your top fundraisers, amount raised or fundraising thermometer, or save time from year to year by using snippets to show your most current administrator and organizational information.
Website snippets can be viewed and added to your website from the page editors at:
- Website -> Pages -> edit
- Sponsors -> Sponsorships -> edit
- Email -> Compose
You will see an S icon in the upper left hand corner of the editor icons area (next to Source).
- Click on this icon for a description of available website snippets.
- Find the snippet you wish to insert and click on the title of the snippet. A corresponding icon will appear in your page editor.
- Save your website edits and view your page (View Website in the top right hand corner of your admin area) to see the snippet render on your website.
