Common PayPal Website Standard Errors

Your donors are experiencing issues completing payments via PayPal Website Standard.

Solution
Clients using PayPal (Website Standard) may experience the following common PayPal System errors. Please note that these errors occur on PayPal and not your DoJiggy fundraising website. You may wish to consider our integrated payment processing option, if these errors are frequent for your constituents.

1. PayPal Blank Login Page

We get occasional reports of donors getting a blank login page when transferring from the DoJiggy website to PayPal to make payments. Please note that PayPal is in control of the user experience after a user is redirected to PayPal.com. If your users encounter this type of PayPal error, please ask them to reload the page or try a different browser. Outdated browsers are not supported by PayPal.

2. An Error Occurred While Processing / Unable to Process Request

We have also had reports of donors getting an "Unable to Process Request" error page when transferring to PayPal. Again, PayPal is in complete control of the user experience after a user is redirected to PayPal.com. If your users encounter this type of PayPal error, please ask them to reload the page or try a different, updated browser.
